This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Like my previous Journal entry month and months ago said, I miss DA, and I've been meaning to post stuff here. Well, this morning, I'm not tired, and for some reason, I'm on DA uploading pictures. Most are old, some are new, some are old with a new twist.
My two photographic fascinations right now are Time-lapse photography, and Tilt-shift photography. Even better, time-lapse tilt-shift photography. I haven't been able to set up in a good spot for 6+ hours and make some magic (finals are coming up) but it's on my to-do list.
Also, if you've noticed I've been dabbling with HDR and IR stuff too. I dunno, I'm just attracted to the alternative techniques.
Oh, and I was very upset when I was home for Thanksgiving break. My wonderful, plastic Holga is broken! I don't know what happened to it, but the lens barrel is jammed up. It's like it was pushed it. I can't focus with it anymore, and I'm not even sure it'll focus on any distance the way it is. I have no access to a darkroom, which is why I haven't been playing with it. Maybe over the winter break I'll see what I can do to save it.
Finally, one more area I'm looking at is astrophotography. I have a pair of really nice telescopes, and I really want to play with them. Last night I watched the crescent moon slowly set over a cloudy Pennsylvanian mountain and it was mesmerizing. I wish I could have photographed it. Of course my idiot older brother put his elbow through the Cassegrain reflector, an approx. $650 slip that renders that scope useless till it's fixed.
